Google-friendly News: Alchemy Stars to Transition Offline After Four Years

Alchemy Stars is shutting down its online services on January 24th, 2025, but not before offering players a unique offline experience. Tencent and Level Infinite announced the transition last month. The game, initially launched in June 2021, will become playable offline, allowing players to revisit the story and their progress.

Shutdown Timeline and Offline Transition:

Live service ends: January 24th, 2025. Maintenance for offline update (version 1.43.0): January 10th, 4:00 to 9:00 GMT. This update is essential to enable the local data save feature.

Players must update the game after the January 10th maintenance to access the data save function located on the main menu. Multiple saves are allowed, but the deadline for saving progress is January 24th at 4:00 GMT. Unsaved data will be lost permanently after this time.

The offline version will be a static release; no further updates will be provided. Deleting the app will render it irretrievable, even via reinstallation. The offline version will allow players to access their saved data, replay the story, and continue unit upgrades.

While the complete shutdown of the game has been averted thanks to the offline version, players are urged to download the game from the Google Play Store before it's removed. Remember to save your game data before January 24th!
