Genshin Impact Officially Reveals Yumemizuki Mizuki for Version 5.4

Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst

Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the Natlan storyline conclusion in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller, Inazuma-focused adventure centered around yokai, with prominent involvement from Yae Miko.

Mizuki's arrival as a playable character, heavily rumored since late 2024, is now confirmed. Beta testing for Version 5.4 revealed her as a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst, essentially a premium version of Sucrose with added healing capabilities. While Sucrose may excel in specific situations, Mizuki's versatility makes her a valuable asset to many Taser teams.

Initially slated for a different reveal date, Mizuki's official introduction via the Genshin Impact Twitter account followed a period of unpredictable drip marketing. Her identity as a tapir yokai, psychologist, and majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse was progressively unveiled. Her close friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests a significant role in Version 5.4's flagship event, alongside a dedicated Story Quest.

Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:

  • Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Vision: Anemo
  • Weapon: Catalyst
  • Constellation: Tapirus Somniator

Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, succeeded by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Importantly, Mizuki will join the Standard Banner after Version 5.4, prompting collection-focused players to prioritize obtaining her Signature Weapon.

Compared to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 presents a more concise update. It includes only one new character, one Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem acquisition will be below average. Players should strategically save their Lantern Rite rewards, particularly if they aim to acquire highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley, unless Version 5.3's Chronicled Banner offers an exceptionally compelling character.
