Ananta, the highly anticipated game formerly known as Project Mugen, is nearing its full release. Early promotional material has generated significant buzz, showcasing a unique blend of popular game elements reminiscent of Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.
Ananta's launch in China has been greenlit, with a projected 2025 release date across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A recent trailer (December 5th) unveiled Ananta as an open-world urban RPG where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent, investigating mysteries in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova.
This ambitious project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. The developers highlight the game's global appeal, citing its familiar yet supernatural environments as a key draw.
Key features of Ananta (formerly Project Mugen) include four-player team-based combat, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
