Freedom Wars Remastered: Max CODE Levels Revealed

Quick Links

In Freedom Wars Remastered, every action you take is a step towards reducing your astronomical one million-year sentence, simply imposed for being born. As you work tirelessly to shorten your prison term, you're simultaneously striving to elevate your CODE level, which significantly eases your life as a sinner.

Your CODE level unlocks a variety of Entitlements, making gameplay more manageable. These can range from allowing you to run longer to enhancing your comrades or gear, which in turn makes battles against Abductors much less daunting. You'll navigate through multiple CODE levels as you progress; here's a detailed breakdown.

How Many CODE Levels Are In Freedom Wars Remastered

There are a total of eight CODE levels in Freedom Wars Remastered. Once you advance to a new CODE level, there's no going back, so you don't have to worry about inadvertently increasing your sentence beyond what's necessary for your current CODE, especially in Deadly Sinner Mode. Each time you elevate your CODE level, you unlock a wider array of Entitlements to purchase, along with new operations to tackle.

How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered

To check the conditions for upgrading your CODE level, simply talk to your Accessory in your cell and ask to "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions". Typically, you'll need to reach specific milestones in your prison sentence and unlock particular Entitlements. It's wise to review this menu frequently before splurging your Entitlement Points on less crucial upgrades, as you might need to donate resources to replenish them.

Donating just one high-quality resource or weapon can often yield enough points for numerous Entitlements.

While meeting all the listed conditions is essential for CODE level advancement, your progress is also intricately linked to the main storyline. You must complete the main story missions and operations, alongside those conditions, to pass the CODE exam, which is part of the narrative. Occasionally, the main story will serve as a substitute for the CODE exam, facilitating your transition to the next level.

Operations are categorized by CODE levels, serving as a gauge of difficulty. Most operations are completed as you advance through the story of a CODE, though some optional operations become available after progression, aiding those who might not be fully prepared for the challenges of their new CODE level.
