Free Fire to debut new Winterlands: Aurora event to mark the festive season

Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings the chill with new character Koda, enhanced movement, and seasonal events. This snowy update adds a fresh layer of winter fun to the popular battle royale game.

Koda, a newcomer from the arctic, boasts the Aurora Vision ability. This allows players to spot enemies hidden behind cover (unless they're crouching or prone) and highlights enemy locations during parachuting.

The star of the show is Frosty Tracks – ice-covered rails that let players dash across the map while shooting, maneuvering, and using throwables. Strategically placed Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins. Frosty Tracks appear in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.

Aurora Events enhance gameplay further. Battle Royale features aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad introduces aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Completing event quests by interacting with these special items provides a team-wide buff.
