Fortnite: How to Complete Weapon Expertise Quests

This guide details Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1's Weapon Expertise Quests, a new feature rewarding players with XP and access to powerful Legendary weapons.
Updated January 14, 2025, to include the newly added Melee Expertise Quests.
Understanding Weapon Expertise Quests
Weapon Expertise Quests are challenge chains tied to specific NPCs. Initiated by speaking with Hope, Ruji, or Agent Jones, these quests involve five stages each. Completing them unlocks Legendary weapons from these NPCs, including Oni Masks from Daigo and the Typhoon Blade from Kendo. Track your progress via the in-game Quests tab.
While these quests can be completed passively, the rewards justify the effort. Here's a summary of the available Legendary weapons and how to obtain them:
