The Fantastic Four: First Steps Trailer Finally Brings Marvel's First Family Into the MCU, Teases Galactus' Arrival

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, offering a captivating glimpse into what promises to be a monumental superhero film in 2025. The trailer introduces Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and The Thing, alongside the formidable supervillain, Galactus. Beginning with a dinner scene at the Baxter Building, the trailer showcases the film's vibrant 1960s retro-futuristic aesthetic and hints at an epic battle unfolding in New York City.

We witness Ben Grimm's transformation into The Thing, alongside the team's trusty robot, H.E.R.B.I.E., both seemingly engrossed in culinary pursuits. The trailer also features Sue Storm's powers as Invisible Woman and Johnny Storm's fiery transformation into the Human Torch. While Reed Richards' stretchy abilities as Mr. Fantastic are yet to be fully revealed, the trailer does offer a tantalizing glimpse of John Malkovich, rumored to be portraying the villain Ivan Kragoff, also known as the Red Ghost.

The trailer's launch event took place at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach interacted with enthusiastic fans.

Scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, the MCU film boasts a stellar cast, including Ralph Ineson as Galactus, Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. Matt Shakman directs, with Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige overseeing production.

Speculation is rife among fans regarding a potential appearance by Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, either within The Fantastic Four: First Steps or perhaps teased in a post-credits scene. Feige has confirmed the Fantastic Four's presence in both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
