Marmalade Game Studio unleashes Exploding Kittens 2, the official sequel to the hit card game, later today. This new version, developed in partnership with Asmodee and Exploding Kittens Studio, promises enhanced gameplay and features for both seasoned players and newcomers.

Familiar Fun, New Features

Exploding Kittens 2 retains the chaotic charm of its predecessor, adding customizable avatars, expressive emojis, and vibrant animations. The core gameplay remains: avoid the Exploding Kittens while strategically using cards like Bear-o-dactyl, Defuse, and the ever-popular Nope card (now even more powerful with "Nope Sandwiches"!).

Three classic expansions – Imploding Kittens, Streaking Kittens, and Barking Kittens – return, completely revamped. A season pass grants access to these immediately, with 10 additional expansions on the horizon. Players can also personalize their avatars with stylish outfits and utilize fun emojis to add a layer of playful interaction.
