Eternal Gundam Battle Network Test Coming for US in New Year

SD Gundam G Generation Eternal: US Network Test Announced!

Contrary to the lack of news since 2022, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is alive and well! A network test is coming, opening up 1500 spots to players in the US, in addition to Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. Applications are now open until December 7th, offering a first look at the game from January 23rd to 28th, 2025.

For the uninitiated, the SD Gundam series puts you in command of a vast roster of pilots and mecha from the iconic Gundam universe, engaging in strategic, grid-based battles. The game boasts an incredibly extensive selection of units and characters, a hallmark of the SD Gundam franchise.

While Gundam's global popularity is undeniable, the SD Gundam line, known for its "super deformed" (smaller, stylized) mecha kits, might be less familiar to some. These charming, compact versions of iconic mecha were once even more popular than the original designs!

A US Debut

Gundam fans are sure to eagerly anticipate this latest SD Gundam installment. However, Bandai Namco's track record with the series has been somewhat inconsistent, with some titles falling short of expectations or facing premature cancellation. Let's hope SD Gundam G Generation Eternal avoids this fate and delivers a high-quality experience!
