Civilization VII: A Roadmap to Global Domination

Civilization VII's launch is imminent, bringing with it a wealth of new content and features. The game's release date is February 11th, with early access for Deluxe and Founders Edition owners beginning February 6th. The title will be available across all major platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, including Steam Deck compatibility. A day-one patch is also planned.

The first DLC, "Crossroads of the World," arrives in March, split into two releases. The initial drop features Great Britain and Carthage as playable civilizations, introducing Ada Lovelace as a new leader. Three weeks later, the second part adds Simon Bolivar as a leader and Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations.

Further expansion is promised with "Right to Rule," slated for release in Q2 or Q3 of 2025 (April-September). This DLC will introduce two more leaders, four additional civilizations, and new natural wonders.

March will also see the addition of new in-game events and natural wonders, including the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest. Firaxis plans ongoing improvements and additions to enhance the gameplay experience with new challenges and events.
