Diablo Immortal Shatters Expectations with Patch 3.2
Diablo Immortal's latest update, Patch 3.2: Shattered Sanctuary, concludes the game's inaugural chapter with an epic showdown against the Lord of Terror, Diablo. After a two-year quest to gather Worldstone shards, players finally confront Diablo, who has transformed Sanctuary into his infernal domain.
Longtime Diablo fans will recognize familiar faces, including the returning Tyrael, and will have the opportunity to acquire the legendary sword, El'druin.
A New Zone: World's Crown
The update introduces World's Crown, a chilling new zone featuring unsettling visuals: blood-red lakes, gravity-defying upward-falling rain, and menacing, jagged structures. This expansive zone is the largest Blizzard has added to the game thus far.
The Diablo Encounter
The centerpiece of Shattered Sanctuary is the multi-phase battle against Diablo. This challenging fight demands mastery of all acquired skills. Diablo utilizes his signature attacks like Firestorm and Shadow Clones, amplified by the final Worldstone shard, making him more formidable than ever. A new attack, Breath of Fear, adds another layer of difficulty. Successfully countering Diablo's devastating moves requires quick reflexes, strategic positioning, and skillful use of El'druin.
New Challenges and Rewards
The update also includes new Helliquary Bosses, designed for cooperative gameplay. Challenger Dungeons offer additional challenges with randomized modifiers, requiring adaptability and quick thinking. The new bounties provide rewarding challenges with superior loot compared to other areas.
