The developers of Marvel Rivals are launching the Fantastic Four into battle
The new season of [Game Name] kicks off with the arrival of the Fantastic Four! Adding a whopping 33 heroes in a single month is impressive, but the developers are already treating players to a brand new quartet. Two—Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman—have already joined the fray, with Thing and Human Torch slated for later release.
Who Are the New Heroes?

Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are the first to arrive, bringing their unique abilities to the battlefield. Thing and Human Torch will follow, filling the tank and duelist roles respectively, completing the Fantastic Four team-up. This team-up synergistically boosts Invisible Woman's healing and grants Mister Fantastic a rapid health restoration ability.
Invisible Woman
With relatively few support characters currently in the game, Invisible Woman offers a welcome addition for support-focused players. Her attacks pierce through multiple targets, damaging enemies while simultaneously healing allies—a powerful tactic in crowded engagements. While her range is limited, staying close to teammates maximizes her effectiveness.

Invisible Woman, as her name suggests, can turn invisible. This requires six seconds of inactivity (no attacking, using abilities, or being attacked), making it a situational tactic. However, she heals while invisible. A more practical invisibility trigger is her double jump, providing a swift escape from danger. Save it for emergencies!

She can deploy a shield in front of an ally (right-click), offering temporary protection. This shield is fragile; prioritize positioning it in front of duelists and repositioning it frequently to injured allies for optimal healing.

Her abilities also include attracting and repelling opponents. Repelling serves primarily as self-defense, ideally before a tactical sidestep. Attracting helps allies close in on enemies for coordinated attacks.

Invisible Woman can launch a sphere that pulls enemies into its area of effect, dealing damage. This is excellent for controlling chokepoints and adding extra damage to groups.

Three consecutive melee attacks result in a pushback effect, though this is often less practical due to vulnerability during the animation. Repelling or the double jump are generally safer retreat options.

Her ultimate creates an area of invisibility and healing for the team. While useful, its stationary nature makes it vulnerable to area-of-effect attacks.
Invisible Woman is a well-balanced addition. While not surpassing top-tier supports like Luna Snow and Mantis, she offers comparable effectiveness with a unique tactical approach.
Mister Fantastic
Mister Fantastic is a truly unique character, reflecting his elastic abilities.

His attacks reach medium range, and angled strikes hit any enemy in their path.

Using abilities and attacks fills a meter. Upon reaching maximum, he transforms into an inflated form, significantly boosting damage and durability.

His "Shift" ability allows him to absorb damage for a short duration, then releasing it in a powerful shot.

He can attract characters, gaining a temporary shield. Attracting allies grants them a shield, while attracting opponents deals damage. This is useful for battlefield mobility and survivability.

Right-clicking extends his arm to immobilize opponents, allowing him to pull them in or grab another enemy for a combined aerial toss.

His ultimate involves a jump attack, dealing damage and slowing enemies. Hitting at least one target triggers a repeat attack. Similar to Bucky's ultimate, but often less effective.

Mister Fantastic blends duelist and tank elements, offering considerable strength without quite reaching the top tier.
Both heroes are impressive additions. The developers' commitment to unique character designs is evident, and anticipation is high for the upcoming releases of Thing and Human Torch.
