This isn't a re-release of the original game. Com2uS, specifically their subsidiary Tiki Taka Studio (known for Arcana Tactics), is developing a completely new Destiny Child title. While retaining the beloved aesthetic of the original's charming 2D characters and emotional core, the gameplay will feature entirely new mechanics. Expect a fresh perspective on the world and characters you know and love.

A Nostalgic Farewell (For Now)

The original Destiny Child, celebrated for its captivating real-time battles and adorable character designs, concluded its run after nearly seven years. However, ShiftUp provided a "memorial" version of the app, allowing former players to revisit the game's art and characters.

This memorial app isn't fully functional; battles are unavailable. It serves as a nostalgic gallery, showcasing the stunning character illustrations and allowing players to reconnect with their cherished Childs. Access requires verification using previous game data, limiting access to those with pre-shutdown accounts. It's available on the Google Play Store, at least until the new game launches.
