Defend Your Evil Lair in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, Now Out on Android!

Castle Doombad is back! The popular tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, has returned to Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, courtesy of Grumpyface Studios and Yodo1.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. However, they've opted for two versions: Free To Slay for mobile and Castle Doombad Classic for PC and consoles. Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered edition with updated content, will launch on Nintendo Switch and Steam later this year. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

In Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, you'll embrace your wicked side, building a formidable lair and thwarting heroic do-gooders. Unlike typical tower defense games, your arsenal consists of traps and minions.

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) features the original 70 stages, daily challenges, and endless modes. Over 30 traps and 100 items are available to unlock and collect.

A customizable cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you adorn your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. These can be combined with equippable "Baddie Bonus" perks.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares that provide unique powers and abilities. Download the game now from the Google Play Store!
