Firaxis Games, the developers behind Civ VII, have shared their roadmap, detailing four new content drops planned for March. Days before the game's release, they outlined updates categorized into Content Collections (paid DLC), Free Updates, and Events & Challenges. March's offerings include:

Looking beyond March, Firaxis teased even more content: two additional leaders, four new civilizations, and four world wonders, along with fresh events and challenges. While release dates remain unannounced for this wave of content, players can anticipate further updates in October 2025 and beyond.

The developers also acknowledged several planned updates that didn't make the initial launch. While release dates are currently unavailable, development is underway:

• Adding teams to multiplayer games.
• Increasing the multiplayer player count to eight.
• Allowing players to select starting and ending ages.
