Adjusting Your Palico's Voice in Monster Hunter Wilds

Is your Palico's human-like speech giving you the creeps? Fear not! Changing your furry companion's language in Monster Hunter Wilds is easy. Here's how:

There are two methods: via the in-game settings or the character creator.

Method 1: Game Settings

1. Access the in-game menu by pressing the Options button.
2. Navigate to "Game Settings," then select the "Audio" tab.
3. Locate the "Palico Language" option.
4. Choose between "Felyne Language" (meows and purrs, with subtitles) or "Set Voice Type" (your game's language).

Method 2: Character Creator

1. Return to your tent and access the character creator from the menu.
2. While customizing your Palico's appearance, you can also select its language preference. You can also adjust its vocal pitch and tone here.

This setting doesn't impact gameplay, so choose whichever option suits your preference. While "Felyne Language" offers a more immersive experience, constantly checking subtitles might prove inconvenient. Using your game's language provides greater convenience, especially during combat.
