The Sims 1 and 2 Make a Comeback!

Both games, complete with their DLCs, are available for purchase on Steam and the EA store, either individually or as a special Birthday Bundle. This marks a significant event for long-time fans, as these titles haven't been readily available for almost a decade. EA has addressed compatibility issues, ensuring these classics run smoothly on modern systems.

In-Game Celebrations in The Sims 4 and The Sims FreePlay

The Sims Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary The Sims 4's "Blast From The Past" event features iconic items from earlier games, including retro furniture, clothing, and decor. New items will be released weekly over four weeks, such as neon inflatable chairs, a three-tiered cake, a light-up dance floor, and even rotary phones.

The Sims FreePlay's Birthday Update transports players back to the series' origins with new Live Events ("The One with the Coffee Shop" and "Reality Island"), a velour tracksuit, daily gifts for 25 days, and a museum showcasing The Sims' history in Social Town.
