Cat-tastic Platformer Puzzle "Buttered Cat" Leaps into the Spotlight

A charming new game, Cato: Buttered Cat, is launching on Android! The name's a clever combination of "cat" and "toast," reflecting the game's unique premise. Ever wondered what happens when you attach buttered toast to a cat's back? The developers did, and the result is a delightful, physics-defying adventure. The cat, defying gravity, spins endlessly!

Originally a 2022 BOOOM Gamejam entry by Team Woll, the positive reception led to its full development. Currently available on Steam for PC, the Android version is on its way. While the Google Play Store listing isn't live yet, you can pre-register on the official TapTap page.

Gameplay in Cato: Buttered Cat:

This puzzle platformer lets you control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Together, they navigate whimsical worlds, solving puzzles and battling enemies. Explore five distinct worlds filled with quirky contraptions, conquer 200 levels (including side quests), and unlock 30 unique outfits. The story unfolds gradually, revealed through clues scattered across the levels.

The cat's agility and the toast's projectile capabilities create engaging gameplay. The cat climbs and runs, while the toast can be launched to help the cat reach otherwise inaccessible areas. The game is also packed with hidden rooms and Easter eggs.
