Catch Karrablast and Shelmet in the February Community Day of Pokémon Go
Pokémon Go enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting February Community Day event scheduled for February 9th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event will spotlight two intriguing Pokémon: Karrablast and Shelmet. During this period, you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to catch these Pokémon more frequently in the wild, and with a bit of luck, you might even encounter their Shiny variants.
The highlight of the event is the evolution bonuses. Evolving Karrablast during the Community Day or up until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time will grant you an Escavalier that knows the Charged Attack Razor Shell. This powerful move boasts 35 power in Trainer Battles and a whopping 55 power in Gyms and Raids. Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe will yield an Accelgor equipped with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, delivering a solid 90 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms or Raids.
Engage in the Special Research to encounter Karrablast and Shelmet adorned with unique Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, alongside earning a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. Following the main event, a Timed Research will be available for an entire week, offering additional encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring these special backgrounds upon logging in during the Community Day.
