Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature: Camo Challenge Tracking. This helpful addition simplifies the often-grueling camo unlock process. This guide explains how it works.

Simplified Camo and Calling Card Progress Tracking in Black Ops 6

The patch notes highlight Camo Challenge Tracking's functionality: "The Challenge Tracker lets players manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges. It also helpfully indicates challenges nearing completion, even those not actively tracked, aiding the pursuit of Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter."

This feature allows players to select 10 camos for active tracking, readily checking progress in-game instead of constantly consulting the main menu. The system also proactively notifies players of almost-completed challenges, regardless of whether they're actively tracked.

How to Track Camo and Calling Card Challenges

To add a camo or calling card challenge to the tracker, navigate to the desired challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation). Progress on selected camos and calling cards can then be monitored during matches, eliminating post-game checks.

Untracked challenges nearing completion are also automatically displayed. This information is also accessible in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 lobby's Daily Challenges section, providing a comprehensive overview of nearly-completed camos and calling cards.

Improved Camo Unlocking

Season 2 also simplifies special camo unlocking. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. However, two special camos remain necessary to unlock mastery camos.
