Call of Duty's Black Ops 6 Introduces Double XP Event

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is treating players to a Quad Feed Double XP event from January 15th to January 21st (10 AM PT), boosting gains for account progression, weapons, Battle Pass, and GobbleGum. This coincides with the 115 Day celebration honoring the Zombies community.

Treyarch, in recognition of 115 Day – a significant number in the Zombies lore – is showcasing fan art, cosplay, and other community contributions. This event precedes the highly anticipated launch of Season 2.

Season 2 will introduce "The Tomb," a brand-new Zombies map, alongside various quality-of-life improvements. The Quad Feed Double XP event offers:

• 2X GobbleGum earn rate
• 2X Player XP
• 2X Weapon XP
• 2X Battle Pass XP

Beyond the XP boost, Treyarch highlighted fan creations and teased upcoming Season 2 features, including Zombies Directed Mode statistics. The reveal of "The Tomb" generated considerable excitement.

Despite positive developments, Black Ops 6 has faced challenges including hacking, bugs, controversial events, and player attrition. Steam, for instance, has seen a significant drop in player numbers since the October 2024 launch. Season 2 is viewed by many as a crucial opportunity to revitalize the game and address ongoing concerns.
