Breaking: Streamer Adin Ross Vows Long-Term Commitment to Twitch
Adin Ross's Commitment to Kick: A "For Good" Return and Bigger Plans Ahead
Adin Ross has definitively ended speculation about his future, confirming his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform "for good." His recent return after a prolonged absence, fueled by rumors of a departure, marks a significant development for both Ross and Kick.
Ross, a prominent and often controversial streamer, joined Kick following a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, alongside other notable creators like xQc, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While 2023 saw considerable success for Ross on Kick, his unexpected absence in 2024 sparked widespread speculation, including rumors of a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven.
However, during a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven, Ross dispelled these rumors, confirming his continued commitment to Kick. This was further solidified by a recent tweet assuring fans of his return and long-term presence. His January 4, 2025 livestream, his first in 74 days, alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, served as a powerful statement.
Beyond his return, Ross hinted at "something even bigger" on the horizon. While details remain undisclosed, many believe this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he intends to expand with Kick's support. Given previous legal challenges with Misfits Boxing in early 2024, the success of future Brand Risk ventures will be closely watched.
Ross's decision is a significant boost for both himself and Kick, which is aggressively pursuing growth through partnerships with top-tier streamers. Kick's co-founder, Bijan Tehrani, recently expressed ambitions to either surpass or acquire Twitch – an ambitious goal, yet increasingly plausible given their current momentum.
