Blox Fruits Dragon Update – Planned Release, Reworks & More

The highly anticipated Blox Fruits Dragon Update is finally on the horizon, almost a year after its initial planned release. Here's a comprehensive overview of the upcoming features, improvements, and release date information.

A Dragon's Breath of Freshness: What's New?

The Dragon Update brings a significant visual upgrade to Blox Fruits. Expect enhanced graphics across the board, impacting islands, character models, and animations.

Several Third Sea islands have undergone extensive revamps, boasting new textures, buildings, models, and structures. These overhauled islands include:

  • Port Town
  • Great Tree
  • Hydra Island

Addressing long-standing performance concerns, the update includes crucial performance optimizations. Leveraging new Roblox performance tools, the developers aim to deliver a smoother, lag-free experience for all players, regardless of their device.

Gameplay enhancements are equally impressive. The NPC quest indicator boasts a fresh visual design, and NPCs now feature idle animations. Chests and their interactions have received visual and animation overhauls.

Combat has also seen significant improvements. Guns are now displayed on the character model, and all guns have been visually and mechanically upgraded. Mobs now showcase knockback and stun animations, and hit indicators are clearly visible through a red glow effect. Observation abilities have been upgraded with new visuals and sound effects. A new Ability HUD helps players track cooldowns, preventing accidental button mashing.

When Can We Expect the Dragon Update?

While an official release date remains unannounced, the release of promotional material signals its imminent arrival. The first trailer, showcasing the update's new guns, is scheduled to drop before December 1st, 2024. Subsequent trailers will offer more detailed glimpses into the update's content.
