Angry Birds Is Celebrating Its 15th Anniversary with a Bunch of Exciting Events!

Angry Birds is rolling into its 15th year, so Rovio is dropping a series of anniversary events across the different games of the franchise. From November 11th through December 16th, a lineup of special in-game events is coming up with full of rewards and challenges.The games that are celebrating the 15th anniversary are Angry Birds 2, Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds Dream Blast.What Are the Events Lined Up for Angry Birds 15th Anniversary?Angry Birds Friends kicks off with Angryversary: Nostalgia Flight from November 11th to November 17th. This tournament week is a throwback to the golden days of Angry Birds. Players worldwide are lining up to relive the slingshot action.Right after, Angry Birds 2 brings out the big hats with a special Anniversary Hat Event from November 21st to November 28th. Hats are a huge part of powering up your birds during this event.And finally, Angry Birds Dream Blast rounds out the in-game anniversary celebration with a fun Jigsaw Event from December 12th to December 16th. You’ll be solving jigsaw puzzles, popping bubbles and joining Red on an island-hopping adventure.What Else Is Going On?The Angry Birds 15th anniversary is being celebrated beyond these games, quite fairly. Rovio has been collaborating with independent artists on projects ranging from music and digital art to food. They’re also bringing out two new comics inspired by the original Angry Birds Classic Comics style.Outside the games, Rovio launched Angry Birds Mystery Island: A Hatchlings Adventure, an animated series.
