For those unfamiliar with the Facebook original, Pet Society was a hugely popular Playfish title boasting 50 million monthly players at its peak. Players customized their virtual pets with clothing and accessories, decorated their homes, and ensured their furry friends remained happy and healthy. Launched in 2008, the game's servers unfortunately shut down in 2013, leaving a void filled by several imitators, such as Pet Pals City.
