MAME4droid 2024 is a powerful emulation tool developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco), based on the latest MAME 0.270 emulator by MAMEDev and contributors. It brings the classic arcade gaming experience to your high-end Android device, supporting over 40,000 different ROMs. This version allows you to dive into a wide array of arcade games and systems such as ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, and many others.

Please note that MAME4droid is strictly an emulator and does not come bundled with any ROMs or copyrighted materials. It's important to clarify that MAME4droid is not affiliated with or supported by the Mame team, so direct your queries about MAME4droid to the appropriate channels.

Designed for high-end Android devices, this version leverages the capabilities of the latest PC MAME version, requiring more robust specifications than its predecessors. While it offers a vast library of games, keep in mind that not all titles, especially "modern" arcade games from the 90s onwards, will run at full speed or with complete compatibility. The sheer volume of supported games means that performance can vary, and some games may not run at all. As such, specific game support inquiries cannot be addressed.

To start playing, after installation, place your MAME-compatible zipped ROMs in the /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.seleuco.mame4d2024/files/roms folder. Be aware that this version of MAME4droid is designed to work exclusively with the '0.269' romset.
