Application Description
This app lets you easily personalize your Android home screen by changing app icons. Icon Changer is a free tool that uses Android's shortcut feature to create custom icons and names for any app. It boasts a massive library of built-in icons and styles, plus the option to use images from your gallery or camera. The app creates a new shortcut on your home screen with your chosen icon.
How to Use:
- Launch Icon Changer.
- Select the app you want to customize.
- Choose a new icon from the app's library, your gallery, other app icons, or a third-party icon pack.
- Optionally, rename the app (leave blank if you prefer).
- Check your home screen for the newly created shortcut with the updated icon.
About Watermarks:
Some Android systems automatically add watermarks to shortcut icons. Icon Changer's method avoids widget technology for cleaner icon changes, but this doesn't eliminate all watermark issues. If a watermark appears:
- Go to your home screen, long-press an empty space, and select "Widgets."
- Find Icon Changer in the widgets list, long-press, and drag it to your launcher.
- Now create your icon. The widget method may resolve the watermark issue.
