How does emmy work? It's simple: Download the app and start riding your moped.

The emmy app is your gateway to scooter joy. Use it to locate an electric moped near you, reserve it, and unlock it. It's that easy, that's emmy.

We handle the maintenance - ensuring the e-scooters are charged and ready to ride. Each moped comes equipped with two helmets of different sizes and a mobile phone holder for your convenience.

Setting up your emmy account is a breeze:

1. Download the emmy app and register for a one-time fee of €4.95, which includes 15 free minutes of ride time.

2. Sign up and verify your EU driver's license. Once your account is approved, you're ready to ride our electric mopeds.

3. Start riding! Use the app to find and reserve an electric moped near you at no extra cost.

4. End your rental by parking the emmy moped in a public parking area within our designated business zone.

How to start your emmy electric moped?

1. Open the helmet box by pressing the red button and selecting a helmet.

2. Remove the moped from the kickstand by standing with the moped between your legs and pushing the handlebars forward.

3. Flip the red switch on the right handlebar to "ON" and ensure the side stand is fully retracted. For Yadea models, press the "P-button".

4. Start the engine by pulling the moped brake and pressing the "Down" switch on the left handlebar simultaneously.

Our fleet of electric mopeds:

In Berlin, Hamburg, and Dresden, you can ride the NIU scooter, designed for lightweight urban commuting. The Yadea moped is available in Hamburg, Kiel, and Munich.

When parking, use designated areas for mopeds and bikes on the street. Avoid parking in bike lanes, bus lanes, or pedestrian walkways.

What are the costs of renting an emmy moped?

Register with a one-time fee of €4.95 and receive 15 free minutes for your first trip (valid for 3 months). Booking and reserving a moped is free for 15 minutes. Unlocking costs €1, and you'll be charged €0.33 per minute of ride time. You can pause your ride mid-trip at a reduced rate.

With over 3800 electric sharing mopeds available in our business areas (visible in the emmy app), you can find them in Berlin, Kiel, Hamburg, and Munich.
