Application Description
The Ayushman app is an official mobile application from the Government of India, designed to enhance access to healthcare services. It is part of the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), a flagship scheme that offers cashless secondary and tertiary care treatment at empanelled public and private hospitals. This initiative aims to provide coverage to over 10 crore poor and vulnerable beneficiary families, making healthcare accessible and affordable.
The National Health Authority (NHA) serves as the apex body tasked with overseeing the implementation of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY. With the Ayushman app, beneficiaries can create their "Ayushman card," which enables them to receive free treatment up to INR 5 Lakhs. This app marks a significant step forward in empowering individuals to manage their healthcare benefits directly from their mobile devices.
We are excited to announce the launch of this official mobile application, which allows beneficiaries and other stakeholders to generate their "Ayushman card" independently. Soon, users will be able to access additional benefits of PM-JAY through the app, further simplifying the process of obtaining essential healthcare services.
