Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Approaches with New Hero Data Revealed
NetEase has released compelling statistics highlighting player preferences and win rates for Marvel Rivals heroes during the game's initial month. The data reveals top picks and surprising win rate leaders, setting the stage for Season 1's launch on January 10th.
Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quickplay across both PC and console platforms, boasting the highest pick rate. However, the highest win rate belongs to Mantis, a Strategist hero achieving over 50% win rates in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
The competitive landscape shows a platform-specific preference: Cloak & Dagger dominates console competitive matches, while Luna Snow leads on PC.
Marvel Rivals' Most Popular Heroes:

- Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
- Competitive (PC): Luna Snow
Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a dismal 0.69% in Competitive), largely attributed to player feedback regarding her damage and gameplay. Fortunately, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in the upcoming Season 1 balance update, potentially altering her standing considerably.
The arrival of the Fantastic Four in Season 1 is expected to significantly impact these statistics, introducing new strategic dynamics and potentially shifting player preferences. The initial release will include Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, with The Human Torch and The Thing following mid-season.
