Cassette Beasts Finally Arrives on Android!

After numerous delays, Cassette Beasts, developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, has finally launched globally on Android. This follows its initial release on PC two years ago. For those unfamiliar, Cassette Beasts is a unique RPG centered around the nostalgic concept of cassette tapes.

Embark on an Island Adventure

The game begins with your character stranded on the bizarre island of New Wirral, a place where monsters roam freely and people transform into creatures to combat them. The island's very existence seems intertwined with cassette tapes.

Your mission: survive and find a way back home. Using your cassette player, you'll capture and record monsters, then play them back to transform into those very creatures.

Forge Alliances and Create Hybrids

Build relationships with the inhabitants of Harbourtown to unlock the ability to fuse monster forms with your partners, creating powerful and unique hybrid creatures. The near-limitless combination possibilities add incredible depth to the gameplay.

Explore a Vast and Mysterious World

New Wirral is a vast and varied landscape teeming with dungeons, puzzles, and hidden areas. Acquiring specific monster abilities will be key to accessing these hidden locations, unlocking abilities such as gliding, swimming, climbing, and even magnetism.

Strategic Turn-Based Combat

The game features a turn-based combat system with an intricate elemental chemistry mechanic. Mastering element combinations will allow you to manipulate enemies, enhance your team's strength, and even alter an opponent's elemental type mid-battle.

Bluetooth Controller Support (with caveats)

Cassette Beasts supports Bluetooth controllers, although some minor issues may be encountered. The game is free-to-play and available now on the Google Play Store.
