Gran Turismo and Forza's main competitor Assetto Corsa EVO is released today

Get ready, racing fans! Assetto Corsa EVO, from Kunos Simulazioni Studios, hits Steam Early Access on January 16, 2025.

The initial release boasts 20 meticulously detailed cars and 5 iconic tracks: Imola, Brands Hatch, Bathurst, Laguna Seca, and Suzuka. Even in Early Access, expect stunning physics, precise handling, and remarkably realistic car behavior.

A standout feature is the free-roam mode. A significant summer 2025 update promises a massive addition: a fully laser-scanned open world encompassing the legendary Nürburgring and its surrounding roads, initially spanning 1600 square kilometers, with ongoing expansion planned.

Assetto Corsa EVO aims to rival industry titans like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport, leveraging photorealistic visuals and cutting-edge physics. The full launch will feature 100 vehicles and 15 tracks, with more content promised in free post-launch updates.
