Farlight 84 Drops New Expansion With Pets Called ‘Hi, Buddy!’

Farlight 84's "Hi, Buddy!" expansion launches today, introducing exciting new features. The core addition is the Buddy System, featuring adorable pets that provide in-game assistance.

Adorable Buddies, Powerful Abilities:

The Buddy System introduces Common and Archon Buddies. Common Buddies, easily acquired, offer helpful abilities. Rarer Archon Buddies boast significantly more powerful effects. Buddies are obtained using Buddy Orbs, found scattered across the map, and capable of holding up to six tactical items.

Ten Buddies debut in this expansion: Common Buddies include Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy. Archon Buddies are the Time Dominator (able to manipulate the Safe Zone) and the Storm Empress (capable of summoning damaging tornadoes).

More Than Just Buddies:

The Sunder Realms map receives a significant overhaul, boasting new terrain, structures, and landmarks, including ramps, enhanced buildings, and unique environmental features like giant duck statues and floating boulders.

A new Tactical Core system allows players to upgrade hero skills and unlock new abilities using Trait points earned through leveling. Trait Activation Cards are required to maximize these abilities.

New events, the Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event, offer attractive rewards such as skins and loot boxes.
